The next chapter for our small sabersmithery.

We have been inspired by canon hilts like any other saber lover and collector out there- although we never really felt like making exact replicas was our jam. Tamino loves creating his own designs so taking inspiration from what is out there and putting his own "AzSabers twist" onto it only came as a natural next step for our lineup. 

For the love of one of our favourite characters in Clone Wars, Kanan Jarrus, we have dedicated this hilt to honour his sacrifices for the Rebellion. 

Inspired by canon

We didn't design this hilt to be screen accurate. Instead, we had taken elements from the hilt Jarrus wields to the drawing board and built something original from it. The design process was elaborate although came together quite quickly as soon as we started to get a feeling for what we were after for this hilt. 

 

The DUUM as our in-betweener

The DUUM hilt serves as a perfect in betweener in terms of luxury and price in our lineup. The Nomad being our shelf queen, the Verndari being our most practical hilt and the DUUM falling perfectly in the middle- a balance between beauty and practicality.

 High quality materials & machining

The DUUM is beautifully crafted using only the most high quality materials and methods to machine it. If you watched the unboxing, you will notice some really dandy features of the hilt such as knurling where you most need it and a satisfying locking mechanism for inserting the emitter. It has beautiful vents on the sides, showing off the crystal chamber and impressive looking internals. 

 

When will the DUUM hilt ship to customers?

We are planning to ship all pre-orders between September and October of this year (2024).
